I agree 100% with you about the parents it’s bad writing, I feel like the writer wanted bad things to happen however to please the viewers they just made it all happy sunshine and rainbows nothing happened lol

The gay thing was funny… it killed me. There were no hints which is what made it more funny to me. Because if he has said something 20 years ago it wouldn’t have gotten to this point. I think it expressed their lack of communication more.
