I loved how much you appreciated the lyrics because rosie wrote every single song on here for the first time. She was so dedicated to learning the process of being completely involved in the music making which is why she was so inactive for a while. She also shared that a lot of the songs on here were about her ex boyfriend which is super brave for her to talk about as a kpop artist (some fans are crazyyyy). You can definitely tell how much she's grown as an artist and especially confidence wise.

Yeah her song structure and lyricism do have a resemblance to Taylor swift songs, you know the angst, emotional trauma. They both just make you wanna scream the lyrics lol.

even though blackpink is still signed to yg as a group i’m so glad the girls ended their individual contracts with yg bc we are able to hear projects like this from them. it makes me so happy to see them finally put out music and for us to see their full potential and i believe rosé is signed to the blacklabel and atlantic records for her solo projects
