You should give it a chance, majority of the cases they deal with in this show are based on real events/cases that happened in korea. At least in regards to the villains in this case a driving force for them is money for being why they are the way they are (evil). There is sympathy you start to develop for our rainbow taxi squad; just trust, give it a chance. Also revenge is big in korean media for many reasons, it's also great seeing people get justice. Like I said with many of these cases being real, the evil people don't seem cartoonishly evil like a dr.eggman or looney tunes character. There are people in the world who are innately evil; this does really well in capturing the vileness of humans, grief, struggle, courage, defeat, the length humans will go to for justice and the strength in weakness

I love how it is based on true stories and it explains in the next couple of episodes what happened in his background and everyone else on the team how they all got together.

Beny

Finally, I love you 😘

Meg

react to Vigilante rly good revenge kdrama and the pacing is fast or 2521 since it got more votes , its kinda like a sports anime vibe.

MandaPanda

Nah, not feeling this. I agree it just shows it’s about a case of bad people with no background. It’s just bad/evil person and the world is mad.

MandaPanda

Cough cough … The Devil Judge

Rosie

Maybe let’s try The Good Bad Mother? 🌚

Beny

Please give it a chance, it’s based on true crimes

yes the Penthouse is 3 seasons but seasons 2 & 3 are short and honestly I say you can start by watching season 1 and if you don't wanna do the other season than don't. Penthouse is a thriller/crime/suspense drama so I feel like it would really fit here

at least try out the first episode and see were it goes!

FINALLY!!! please give it a change! it each case is always more than on episode so you get a better understanding of it! it’s based off of real cases that have happened in korea! plus all these cases lead up to the actual true villain is. and the music gets better for sure! the ending song that you stopped is pretty good too! a lot of the cases the evil people do it mainly for money, or that they’re untouchable. and the story of how they all came together is revealed and their relationship with each other. so definitely please give it a chance!

IDK the premise is good on what they are trying to showcase but the emotion part is just not connecting in this first episode for me....idk if it's how they do the backstory of the victims or what...maybe it gets better but for a first episode they did a whole lot of nothing to flesh out the tone of this show....especially the music choice seemed so confusing.

Nashton Macmind

I reached to the end and you said exactly what was on my mind LOL . They don't give us a reason to sympathize....yes, that sounds crazy but that is just how you properly flesh out a show...you flesh out the victim...the scenario.. the people...the reason behind the bad person...how their paths crossed...that's how you then make the audience want to be engaged....(Btw this a standard thing done in documentaries like Unsolved Mysteries, Case files and Forensic shows that depict REAL cases as well....which I always watch) this first episode was just simply not engaging...this felt like a news broadcast you hear passing by or when switching radio channels... it's strange so many people were asking for this...is it just because the lead is good looking lol?

K

The reason a lot of people like the show is because its based on true events it has nothing to do with the lead looking good. if you could get into shows based on a writers imagination. you should be able to get into something that's real and happens all over the world but you never hear about it. please give it a chance if after the 2nd episode you sill don't like it then i understand and respect your choice.

manal ganx

Vigilante is a most iam surprised that u haven’t watched it yet it’s short not slow and it’s fun

Sian

Okay Terry I hear you and completely understand your complaints. If it's not your cup of tea then I respect it. I would also say to give it another try and if you're still not rocking with it then drop it and move on.

dinae

Even if you never end up reacting to penthouse on here due to the three seasons, highly recommend, just checking out on your own time if you like super suspenseful ever twisting kind of dramas where it’s not easy to predict what’s gonna happen next

Carmelie Matzke

I feel like you would like ‚my demon’ so even if some people said that you wouldn’t like it pls check it out

Nadia Aguilera

i dont know if anyone has mentioned but the stories that will be mentioned in this series.. are true stories that have happened in South Korea... I personally liked Season 2.... they added a new character in season 2.

H .liana

I think you should definitely check out TOMORROW kdrama tho. That a really good show as well
