Ok in my country we have a little story about a crow who tried to copy a partridge’s walk, couldn’t do it, and forgot how to walk like a crow too, Moral of the story? Be yourself, or you will end up lost And that’s what happens to the K-pop industry I’m sorry I like their music I’m a big fan for multiple K artists and I will continue that but they lost their sound when I listen to them it feels like I’m listening to Sabrina or Charlie Puth or whatever from the western music industry

Daniyah

And OMG Day6 still has their own sound THAT song will be on my summer playlist FOR SURE

Jewel

I agree that K-pop’s current sound and approach to music isn’t my favorite but that’s why I’ve started to branch out into smaller Korean artists and I’ve found a lot of gems.

Woooow I agree. I feel like you described my current frustrations with the industry. I understand going the route that leads to more views or $$$ but it's usually at the expense of losing that initial spark that brought me to kpop music back in like 2009- 2010. Idk 🤷🏾‍♀️
