as you kind of mentioned bris, the people who say break-dancing is just acrobatics are just ignorant. first of all they still need to make all their movements go with the music like they're not just solely competing on who does the most difficult trick.

i respect your opinion bris, but i still think AG squad deserved the main dancer for the middle class. this situation reminds me of wswf2 where bada did the choreo and her and kirsten were fighting for the main dancer position. both did great but judges gave it to bada as she was able to come up with such a killer choreography. i think the judges should have given props to AG Squad especially Kyra for pulling off an amazing group choreo. it was one of the best choreos I’ve have seen with such great energy and memorable killing moments. especially the latter part of the choreo where they do that crazy move where they are squatting and doing that hand thing movement, AG Squad were far ahead. also the judges were kind of hypocrites when they said RHTokyo made their moves too different from the original choreo when instead they praised Royal Family for changing it as well (e.g. taking off jacket, showing butt). I get the whole “performance” kinda thing, but for me i guess that mainly should apply in freestyle battles where you are free to do anything you want, either focus on technique or wow the judges and give that “performance” vibe that you mentioned. for choreo battles, i think they should respect the choreo as it is and see who can give their own flavour to it, but without changing any moves.

Ain’t nobody arguing with you on the battle w the b girl and lip J, the battle was truly iconic because where else other than here are we going to see a b girl dance battling a wacker🤣One of my fave battles, cuz even tho their style is different, they were in sync with their travelling on the stage, so satisfying to watch. Logan deserved that win👏🏼

When we say we’ve seen them dance like this before we are not referring to dance genre or dance style, obviously they would dance the same dance style as before, what we are talking about is skill set. In my opinion Gabee as not shown me improvement or anything new in the past few years were as Lip J has shown me new techniques, new creativity etc. but you are right when you say that we don’t know the other girl or how she’s improved in comparison so can’t hold it against Gabee

Rie hata really clocked that girl when she asked her what part of Honey’s choreo she wanted to do and she couldn’t answer cuz before that Rie Hata said she couldn’t remember Honey J’s choreo and the other girls weren’t tryna agree with her😂😂

I’m going to simplify it for you. You have seen touchdowns, home-runs and dunks so many times yet it’s still exciting to see. It works until it doesn’t work. For the majority of people including the judges it worked 🤷🏾‍♂️ IDK what else to say on the matter 😂

And it worked because it‘s an ENTERTAINMENT show so the ENTERTAINMENT factor will naturally prevail. I am saying in an ACTUAL dance battle it wouldn’t. Majority of people saw that. Even professional dancers like Wackxy and Trix from the last season have done their reactions to it on YouTube and said the same thing I said🤷🏾‍♀️ if you don’t want to accept it you don’t have to but it’s fact. And yes the judges are good and as a whole better than the last seasons but they still are not battle dancers/judges and therefore don’t know much on how a battle should be judged.

I think AG squad losing round 1 shouldn’t really matter JUST because they had a rematch which is basically like a clean slate but i understand what you mean the rookie class was the toughest decision in my opinion lip j really made an amazing choreo i hope AG squad expands on it and makes it an interesting and fun choreo to watch thank for the reactions

That reaction to RF at the end was so valid.... I was DEAD! EVEERYTHING WAS ON POINT HOLYYYY!! I am worried about the directing cause I doubt they'd do better than Kyra and AG but they are Kyra's students so I have some hope. I do have to say, that girl in AG who did that move at the front... NOBODY did it like her. Everyone else felt off... the comments be saying the exact same thing, she ate that so hard!!!

Yeah the thing about facial expressions AND energy is that it still needs to fit the song or the story you tryna tell. If it's a cutesy song you can't always be making stinky faces, and as for the moves you shouldn't always be going full out, there are some moves that should be softer and slower than others. and regarding the Rookie Class that was the hardest to choose for me too because AG did make a mistake but at the same time their execution was just soooo good. they really took that choreo and made it their own. it s really hard to beat the original especially being as good as Hyojin and LipJ

For the middle class, I originally had AG Squad but that last round RF Family totally won it for me

Royal Family have been doing old choreography from yrs ago to these challenges. While the rest are making up the choreo for the challenges on the fly. It’s almost cheating and yet they still didn’t win… lol I love the facial expressions but they’re are times and places for it. I get it RF is known for the stank faces. So far my favs are AG Squad and RHJapan? Motiv needs to step up.
