Not a spoiler. My theory on why some remember their time in the borderlands and some don’t is that it’s just like how dreams work. Some people remember them and some people don’t. Also you asked why Usagi and the guy in the wheelchair were in a coma but their hearts didn’t stop. I think you missed that as soon as Ann finished explaining how time worked differently in the borderlands, Arisu got a phone call saying Usagi’s heart stopped. That’s why Ann and Arisu rushed to give him the injection in that moment. Hoped that clarified things for you.

My philosophy on the time is that the time in “borderland” does not match up with the time in the “real world” for instance him needing to bring his wife back within two minutes. I theorize that maybe two minutes in the real world could be equivalent of two years in borderland….. and side note it would be so cool if you could play these games in VR i’d be so scared but intrigued

This is just my guess that they didn’t have enough money to finalize the apartment, because she was signing a residency contract. Arisu did say they should buy it, but I’m not sure if they are talking about her dad’s apartment or Arisu’s. Plus her dad is gone, so it could be just her dad’s, I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♀️. She probably goes there to stay connected to her father and memories.

that’s the crazy thing about having different hairstyles they can change your look entirely. arisu cut his hair and maintains it now so he looks older whereas before it was just long and crazy so it made him look like younger. i love it!
