I personally love this show I just the first two episodes are slow and the part where they "pick up girls" to be in their music video is pretty painful. Because they didn't know English and were trying so hard to be 'cool' and find women that looked "hip hop." That parts super cringe. But all the stuff with Warren G, writing raps for him, introducing him to Korean food was awsome! When they had to make their own choreos, got singing lessons, worked part time jobs...it's actually a pretty cool show. The main thing that's cringey is the language barrier when the AMERICANS didn't make an effort to communicate. That mostly wasn't the case but sometimes they were just brushed off or treated like infants. That's ultimately why Dante was asked to leave the show and ultimately why ARMYs love Tony and Nate. Because while living with BTS they actually really got to know them and appreciate their distinct personalities and talents

My husband and I didn't care so much for Coolio to be the one coming in teaching them about hip hop. We thought he was rude especially to V. We are in our 40's and there were better rappers out there during that time who would've been better. When Warren G was with them, his demeanor was so much better and he wasn't rude to any of them any way shape or form. Of course it's our opinion and we aren't trying to ruffle anyone's feathers.

I get what you're saying, but the thing here is what ppl didn't like about this, is Coolio didn't know anything about BTS, he was supposed to be their teacher yet before the program, unlike some of the other 'teachers', he did no research on BTS he just came in and treated BTS like they didn't know how to take shit seriously when in the kpop industry ppl be dying from overworking, u kno? Like I respect him as an artist and all he's done in hip-hop, but c'mon he could've at least watched one mv or done a little research to see who these dudes are and what they wanna do it's just respectful and every other one of their coaches did that too so they were like yeah we're interested in working with you guys, Coolio's not what made it cringey you'll see as you watch the show further the whole show in general is pre cringey (but iconic), Coolio's parts were cringey when he would say smthn a little ehhh and it was awkward cause that's not true, like some other ppl you'll see who didn't kno who these guys were, they'd just talk shit or smthn like ohh this isn't SK kpop you can't just party party this ain't a game ya'll acc have to work hard, when if they did some research they'd kno how hard it is growing up in SK and that the kpop industry is just shitty, one of the tutors was even fired for being shitty and hitting jin!

Tony Jones tho, one of the tutors (the one who gave Jimin the nickname Chim CHim), he came out in an interview and acc said while they expected them to be like normal American teenagers and maybe not work hard, he was shook at how off camera they were really respectful and were working until early mornings, in episodes you can even see they had to be carried out of bed, so ppl like Tony lol.

I wonder how many times they shot the same scene over again unless it's just the way they edited it because it looks like they keep switching seats on the couch and sometimes JHope's (bangs parted in the middle)hair is peeking out of his hat and then in the same scene his hair is pushed back inside the hat - while sitting on the couch and also while performing. I never noticed these things when I first watched AHL. Also looking forward to seeing you reacting to the rest of AHL episodes or clips. Hope to see your reaction to their dance battle in the actual episode 3 and a lot of other cool moments in other episodes. Great reaction as always:)
