This entire day... This is why I'm a fan. These are the types of communal events that are so special. Not a single person watching was expecting that speech to transpire the way it did—it was a shockwave to a lot of people, maybe including (most of) the guys themselves. It's even more poignant coming, what, two nights after another successful show? Not even two weeks since the greatest live production I've ever seen at the MMAs? Like they got everything they earned, they weren't snubbed a single time... Sorry to rant, but you're like, One of Us so you get it. Anyway, thank you for all of your reactions, your respect, your insight, and your excitement. You're awesome.

What I find so lovely is that Jin is the one that stated what they went through, not RM. He took his position as the eldest hyeong and protected his namdongsaengs. He understood how much was on RM's shoulders as the leader and stepped up to prove why they are a family. We purple them and will be with them until the end.

A few other observations from today! 1) When Jin said the word "disband/break-up," there's a shot of Joon from another angle just mouthing "oh my God" as people are like LOSING THEIR MINDS like "he did not say that" and it's lowkey funny 2) Another reason Tae got so emotional, I think, is that you may or may not remember a mention of the members going on a trip without any cameras at the start of the year; V was the one who organized that. I think a lot happened on that trip. 3) You probably know already, but their contract was due to expire this year, anyway; we now know that it wasn't a quick "Yes!," that there was an intense discussion due to their mental health to potentially disband at their most successful point. Of course, they ended up extending their contract for um SEVEN YEARS but y'know...

I got into bts at about the same time you did, was watching produce 101 season 2 , n they had to do a cover of bts boy in luv, ...me Who is BTS? me going to you tube..me holy shit!!!...me totally hooked, literally leaned back from my laptop when namjoon appeared..( I know a force when I see one) In December 2017 no one agreed with me either that BTS was the juggernaut coming...well they are here

BTS are the greatest in my eyes! They have worked so hard for so long and I think we forget or don’t understand what it takes to make such a great and unique group. They are family. And they are a big part of my life. Their music and messages have gotten me through the hardest time in my life. I love BTS. I purple them all.

Jin said, earlier this year they thought about disbanding. And that time, they released 2 songs : let go and don't leave me. Now it sounds like their farewell song. Listen it again now it made me cry. Like i can't even imagine what they've been through, many hardship, hateful comment, high pressure from public and agency, and at the same time they have to be perfect all the time and show us nothing happen in their life because their so cheerful and awesome and make us happy. And i really thank BTS to stay together, because they have inspire me and others. And what i love about them, they really show how much us meant to them, even when they hurt or pain, they put us above it all. So proud to call myself as BTS's ARMY!

I haven't been ARMY long but I am so happy I found them. I think one of the best things they have done is to open the door for all kpop here. My biggest hope is that more kpop groups find footholds in US markets and European markets. I hope groups like VIXX and Big Bang and many more get exposure too.

yeah that was too much for me. I was crying like a baby. I think it's more emotional issues that their had behind the seen. I don't think is about fighting with each other.

Dude my heart sunk when Jin mentioned them considering disbanding. It’s crazy to know that despite all the success sometimes the pressure takes its toll. Glad they pulled through and pushed forward.

I cried throughout their speeches. Them crying broke my heart because those weren’t happy tears, a little bit of happy with a lot of pain and gratitude. I was shocked to hear Jin say they almost disbanded, but I can see that. These guys have been non stop because they want to give us so much. I’m beyond happy and relieved they stayed together, but not for me or ARMY, but because that’s what they wanted. I feel like ARMY is split in half, those that are always asking for more from the boys, asking for perfection, and those that only want what’s best for BTS, their mental, emotional, and physical health. The former need to remember that Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook are human and that it is our responsibility to take care of them, watch out for them, defend them, and love them. BTS&ARMY together forever. 💜

I've seen their acceptance speech so many times at this point and I sob so hard every time. I'm still super new to BTS, because I've been sleeping on K-Pop since 2NE1 disbanded. So to think that BTS almost didn't make it at the beginning of this year... I can't. I might never have gotten to know these boys and fallen in love with their personalities and their music. I'm trying not to think like that, because obviously they're still here. But I definitely don't want to take them for granted. They carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. I hope they can take some time to take care of themselves. 💜😭💜

What really struck me was that they considered disbanding after 2017... if that year was crazy for them imagine how they feel right now, after 2018 which was the biggest yet. It must so incredibly hard, the pressure that they're facing.

Hey, I’d really love if you could react to Jonghyun’s Crazy. The live performance is something incredible and I really, really love your reactions and value your opinions. Especially because I watch your videos due to the fact I don’t know any kpop fans in real life. That being said, it’s just the first anniversary of him not being with us and SHINee haven’t left my thoughts at all. I cannot imagine life without BTS. Like I just can’t. But Yesssss I’m so glad they got back up and keep it together for army!! As a army, I’m so proud of them for coming such a long way. And this is just the start! BTS have to stay with ARMY forever ❤️ ARMY gonna keep supporting and giving all the love to them :)
