If I was on a panel at an in-person event, what ideas or topics would you like to see? Go wild with what you would want. I'm really interested to see what you guys would come up with.

If someone came up with a good idea in the comments you like , plz (like/heart) it so I know its popular. Thanks Gang!

P.S. It could have anything to do with the K-Industry

This is out of the blue, but what if there was a way to find idols in groups that are still active and have/are dating, but black them out and change their voices to get their take on it. Strange, but I'm curious as to how many would do it.

I loved your commentary on Demon slayer! You appreciate the artwork, visuals and fighting atmosphere! I would love to here more of your toughts on past, present and future anime!

rae

I’d like to know your thoughts about bts’ hiatus, the festa dinner, and the future of bts/hybe as a whole. That’d be interesting!

Adam Fraser

I think a cool thing would be like 3x3 of your top kpop groups that are a must for you

N'Sean La Tour

I would love to see a day in your life planning for a reactions and videos.

Future of kpop and why more people should tune in to kpop. Maybe how kpop influences or is influenced by other music. Or dispelling misconceptions about kpop such as how they are talentless singers who do nothing but lipsync (that's what my non-kpop friends say about it).

Fan Xiong

Shameless plug for why aespa and SM's Kwangya Universe is so different and groundbreaking (if it is).

Fan Xiong

Hybe is doing that with UMG already, but it might be interesting to talk about whether that will work or not in the USA -- i.e. training Americans like a Kpop trainee and then debuting them.

Could you react to Korean movies also?

If it is a panel, I presume other content creators/reactors will be on it as well. Some questions I would have and topics for discussion to do with K-Industry: 1) What made you specifically choose to react to K-pop/K-dramas? 2) K-pop has exploded on an international scale over the past few years (or decade, depending on how you like at it). Do you think K-pop will make it onto Western radio stations in the next few years? Obviously a lot of English releases like Butter and and The feels got radio play, but what about non-English releases? 3) Similar to question 2, K-dramas are quickly following suit thanks to shows like Itaewon Class and Squid Game. Do you think K-dramas will continue to grow popular in Western culture? 4) What things do you look for in a debut that might set a group apart from other debuts? How do you personally gauge a group's potential? 5) There's a lot of mixed feelings over the direction K-pop is taking with the "two or three songs in one" style becoming the norm. What are your thoughts? Would you prefer these mixed songs be split into seperate songs? Does this style work? All I have for now, but I'll add more if I can think of any!

I’d like to see more behind the scenes events and charity work/donations Idols engage in. Also more practice and productions from lyric writing to production. Basically the Idol culture and people behind the scenes that work with Idols like BTS. 👍🏽

What would you say differentiates one kpop group to another? As there is a lot of supply in the industry, arguably where there isn’t enough demand for everyone to succeed, what makes the successful groups the beneficiaries?

BTS_ARMY NOONA EVENTS & MEETUPS SEATTLE

If it aint BTS/ARMY/HYBE why would he ask another agency/group their thoughts about BTS setting some boundaries that other kpop artists cant do, living their best life having fun in any shape or form they want to, getting some rest and preparing to release their solo albums that is about to chart all 7 individually? There's plenty outside on this topic from so called critics and experts sharing their outside opinions. I mean they have us ARMY...so their future is bright 🌞 ✨️

rae

1. he’s not asking another agency anything, he’s speaking about a topic on a panel. 2. idk why u telling me all that i want HIS opinion not yours… keep it cute!

During BTS's Festa dinner RM made a comment saying the Kpop industry doesn't allow for maturing/growth. id love to hear your thoughts on that and if you see it in different aspects within the Kpop/Kdrama realm.

Tennie Christenson

Same here!!! I would like to know myself because I know it was a shock to you too as well as myself, but I fully understand and they deserve to be happy and mature as well respected young men. Coming from a 46 year old ARMY lol 😊

Adam Fraser

I’d also like to hear how kpop has influenced your overall interest in K-culture and what things you’ve introduced in your life because of it

The pressure of being an idol now vs 10 years ago. I’ve listening kpop for a long time and you can tell that if idols worked hard before, new idol groups have to work even harder to get some recognition. The choreos are getting crazier to get peoples attention, their comebacks are sooner (2-3 per year), and the competition even within the company feels harder now since companies are trying to debut the next big group or have the most popular members in several activities without proper rest. Also it would be interesting to hear if you listen to kpop as a “hard stand” or if you are a casual listener. Since now we have so many kpop groups trying to have international fans, do you think is more beneficial to have soft stand or hard stands? By soft stand I mean you are a casual listener, you might now a few songs but never really purchase an album or know their story and what are they up to. PD: I apologize for grammar mistakes or is something doesn’t make sense, I am not a native speaker 🙏🏼

I'd love to hear how mental health is affecting idols in the industry as well as new idols coming in. How is the industry helping ot hindering their mental health. Especially if they are doing 2 to 3 comebacks a year with really no break or down time.

MagicMermaidGirl

You could talk about your experiences meeting different idols and maybe talk more about your YouTube career and how its influenced how you view kpop; that sort of thing!

1) Maybe bring up what different qualities of an idol or group are important to you when deciding to stan or not. For instance, obviously, the music, dance, vocals, lyrics, and such are important but what about what groups do outside of that like charity and interactions with fans. 2) Talk about whether or not you think there should be a certain level of education for idols in regards to learning about other cultures and races if they are trying so hard to reach foreign audiences. Like maybe even a few classes or lectures given to them about appropriation and such because it often seems like they don't learn about these topics until they have already been canceled (unless they have and just don't care which would be unfortunate). 3) Obviously idols don't have to do this, but would you want to see more idols do what BTS did with American Hustle Life and learn from the people who originated the music which has inspired them so much when making their own as well as get to know their foreign audiences their trying to reach. I ask this because I've personally noticed that foreign members or members who have experience living and/or learning in other places like the U.S. or Canada tend to have more respect when handling genres such as hip-hop like BTS's rap line, stray kids, and Mark from NCT. 4) How do you feel about companies dealing with idols' social media and such on their behalf as well as making apologies on behalf of their idols? 5) Do you think western artists' would benefit greatly from doing variety content like kpop idols do?

SD

I think it would be really fun if you made your own Kpop group dream team as well as dream collaboration. You can also come up with your own ideas for what their debut/comeback could be such as their song's genre, clothing, theme,...etc.

Choose one kdrama or anime to have an American adaptation (but assume it would actually turn out good) and decide what cast you would want. Then choose one American show to have a Korean or anime adaptation and the cast for that.
