Rhaenys sat drinking tea with her aunt, as she always had during the camps. This would be their last stop before reaching King's Landing. But unlike previous occasions when she had shared this moment with Daenerys, this time was different. There was a different atmosphere between the two women. After all, this time there was a certain man waiting for them when they arrived at the Red Keep. Jon Snow, the handsome and charming northern bastard who had caught their interest, turned out to be Jaehaerys Targaryen, a prince, her brother. And not only that, he rode a dragon, an ancient and powerful beast that had not been seen in Westeros for over a hundred years. The revelation of his identity and the fact that he was a dragon rider was not only a surprise to his family, but to the whole world as well. He had changed the game, and she knew that the great lords of Westeros were already planning ways to get to him.

She herself witnessed how Tywin Lannister did not hesitate for a second to throw his granddaughter into Jae's arms in order to secure a marriage with her brother. Fortunately, her father would not allow any of that. And that would work to her and Dany's advantage, even though the King wanted to end the long Targaryen tradition of intermarriage. Even he would have to see that the best decision would be to keep the greatest weapon of House Targaryen continuing to belong to House Targaryen.

But that created a new dilemma. Both she and Daenerys were interested in Jae, but they were also intelligent women and loved each other too much to fight over a man.

At least Rhaenys hoped it wouldn't come to that.

“So, what do you have in mind to solve this little problem we have on our hands, dear niece?” Daenerys asked as she threw treats to Jae's albino wolf. The animal had not left Daenerys' side for a moment, and her aunt seemed more than happy with his company. For some reason, that alone made Rhaenys feel like she was already losing.

Daenerys had always been the more popular of the two; the vast majority of men always seemed to favor her. After all, she was the perfect princess, from her appearance to her manners, and the two of them couldn't be more different in those respects. Daenerys was the perfect image of the Valyrian princess, her platinum hair, clear violet eyes, a face worthy of a goddess, skin as white and soft as the silks of Qarth, and if all that weren't enough, she had an ass that was probably the envy of every lady in Westeros. And of course, Rhaenys could not compete with her natural charm. She had seen firsthand how she was able to enchant any man with just a glance and a tender expression. Something she was not capable of achieving even if she tried.

No, she was a completely different type of woman. Unlike her aunt, she preferred to spend her time training with her spear rather than learning manners and courtesy. As for appearances, Rhaenys was different from what a man would imagine when he thought of a Targaryen princess. She had inherited her mother's tanned skin and long, lustrous dark hair, but she had her father's dark purple eyes. Rhaenys had also inherited her grandmother's build, her legs were slender and long, her stomach flat and toned with wide hips and a round, firm butt, but still nowhere near as perfect as Dany's. However, she did have something to be proud of. Although at first Rhaenys hated her huge breasts because they always got in the way during fights, she knew the power they had to attract men's attention, and they were her best weapon for capturing Jae's interest.

"I'm sure he's going through a lot right now. I don't think it's a good idea to pressure him too much right now,“ Rhaenys said, although in reality she wanted nothing more than to be close to Jae.

”You're right, he must have a lot on his shoulders right now,“ Daenerys said ‘innocently’ before giving her a mischievous smile and finishing with, ”Maybe I could help him relieve all that pent-up stress."

“Dany!” Rhaenys said, scandalized, to which her aunt only laughed amusedly.

“What?” she said defensively. “It's not like you haven't thought about it.”

“I think we both deserve at least one chance to get closer to him.”

“Are you saying we should take turns seducing him?” Daenerys said casually.

“I wasn't exactly talking about ‘seducing’ him, Dany,” Rhaenys said effusively. “I was talking about actually getting closer to him, getting to know him.”

“Oh, come on, Rhae, look me in the eye and tell me seriously that you don't want that magnificent man on top of you. Don't you remember the way Ashara Dany blushed when his name was mentioned? Have you ever seen Ashara blush? The gods know what they did during those two weeks he stayed in Starfall.“ Daenerys said as she bit her lip. Rhaenys didn't want to imagine the kind of images that were going through her mind at that moment. ”I've waited years to find the perfect man, and I've finally found him. And it turns out he’s, my nephew. He couldn't be more perfect. So don't take this the wrong way, dear niece, but I'm not lying when I say I plan to ride that dragon over and over again until one of us passes out, and luckily, it will be me. And of course, I won't judge you if you decide to do the same."

Obviously, Rhaenys couldn't help but be tempted by the idea. Like Daenerys, she too had waited until she found the perfect man. Both women could have taken lovers to keep them satisfied until they found the ideal man, but both decided to only sleep with the man they loved. Obviously, they couldn't search forever. They were still princesses of the Kingdom, and both received constant requests from multiple lords from all over Westeros and even Essos for their hand. They couldn't escape marriage forever. And now that the perfect man had finally appeared, they both wanted him.

It wasn't an easy situation to be in.
