When they came out of the loo, Catelyn couldn’t help but notice the curious and impressed glances directed at them by the other couples and groups of friends scattered around the bar. The girls were watching Jon with obvious interest, whilst the men were devouring her with their eyes. Paying no heed to the onlookers, Catelyn simply clung tightly to Jon’s arm whilst smiling without the slightest remorse for her actions.

The fact that she was a little tipsy helped to dull the embarrassment.

As they approached the bar, Tormund greeted them with a knowing, amused smile.

“Looks like they’re having quite a good time back there,” remarked the redhead, winking at them.

“Shut up, Tormund,” Jon muttered with a laugh, shaking his head before asking, “Bring Catelyn some water. She’s had enough beer for today.”

“Sparkling, please,” added the redhead in a flirtatious tone.

Tormund burst out laughing as he fetched the bottle and handed it to her. Catelyn, her throat still parched, drank almost the whole thing in one go before setting the bottle down on the bar.

“Thank you very much, Tormund,” she said, flashing a refined smile.

“At your service, my Lady,” the bearded man nodded with a playful tone.

“Aye, aye… don’t be so sycophantic, it’s not your style, Tormund,” Jon interjected with a smile, handing over the payment and including a generous tip for his old friend.

At the sight of the extra money, Tormund’s smile widened even further.

“It’s always a real pleasure to have you round here, Snow.”

Taking Catelyn by the hand, Jon led her out of the pub into the fresh North air. When they reached the car, she leaned affectionately towards Jon, embracing him and wrapping her arms around his neck to give him a sweet, tender kiss.

“That was great fun,” she confessed, her cheeks flushed and a radiant smile on her face.

“It certainly was,” Jon agreed, wrapping his arm around her waist. “Honestly, I’ve never had so much fun in the bathroom at Tormund’s place.”

Catelyn let out a little laugh and looked him in the eyes.

“I have to confess something… that was my first time doing it in public."

Jon raised an eyebrow curiously, but then looked at her sincerely.

“It was my first time too.”

Catelyn narrowed her eyes and looked at him with a mixture of suspicion and amusement.

“You don’t have to lie just to make me feel better, Jon. I don’t care what you’ve done in the past or how many girls you’ve been with… I’m not jealous, at least not of your past.”

“But I’m telling you the truth,” Jon replied with an amused smile. “Of course, I’ve done some pretty wild things and been with quite a few women, but I’d never done it out in the open before. So, this was, technically, a first for me as well.”

“Oh, really?” Catelyn raised an eyebrow, incredulous but amused. “Well, perhaps there’ll be more firsts for both of us later today.”

“We’ll see. But, in the meantime, we need to make a stop before heading to our next destination.”

Catelyn looked at him, blinking curiously, tilting her head slightly.

“What do you mean by a stop?” she asked, crossing her arms coquettishly.

Stepping away from her, he opened the passenger door for her before getting into the driver’s seat. Once inside, he started the engine, making the powerful roar of the V8 echo through the car.

“You see, I’ve booked a table at a very posh restaurant for dinner, and let’s just say the dress code is a bit stricter than Tormund’s pub.”

Catelyn looked down at her own outfit—the tight denim shorts, the top and the leather jacket—and then let out a crystal-clear laugh, finding the situation utterly amusing.

“Are you saying my outfit isn’t sophisticated enough for your fancy restaurant, Jon?” she teased, raising an eyebrow defiantly as she settled into the seat.

“It’s incredibly sexy, there’s no doubt about that,” Jon clarified immediately, shooting her a look laden with desire before setting the car in motion.

Catelyn smiled, pleased by the compliment, and stroked his knee familiarly as the car began to glide smoothly along the road.

“So, does that mean we’re going back home to get changed?” she asked with a slight pout of impatience.

“Not exactly, darling.”

“What do you mean, 'not exactly'?”

“Let’s just say I want to spoil you as you deserve,” Jon replied with a smug smile, pressing the accelerator a little harder as he took a bend. “We’re going shopping.”
