Digimon frontier fans do not like Digimon

I'll admit frontier is probably my favourite season of digimon, but less because of its super Sentai roots and more because I'm fond of the cast and their arcs. In particular episode 22 when takuya astral projects into the day the series started in the form of flamon and the feeling that this already stressful heroes journey has stripped him of his humanity as he unfolds the little pieces of that arc's central mystery and the backstory of our most tenacious antagonist, duskmon, really fascinated me. It's the best episode of digimon over all in my opinion (though there are some serious contenders even across seasons I don't like much like adventure 02 and xros wars season 3. Also to be honest, I just really like all the trailmon, you show me a sentient train I will usually enjoy it.

I prefer Digimon Frontier for 3 reasons. Number one, it was brave enough to try something new and experiment with with the Digimon formula. I'm a big Super Sentai fan, and while I wouldn't want every season to be a season of Super Sentai, one season of it was enough to be thoroughly enjoyable without overstaying its welcome. Number two, it introduced my favorite Digimon, Agunimom. And number three, the world being reduced to code really drove home the point that it is a DIGITAL world in a way that... I won't say we haven't seen before (especially since I'm not overly familiar with Tamers, since I didn't care for that season personally), but that I personally enjoyed seeing. No hate to anyone who disagrees, but there's a reason that Frontier is my favorite season. Honorable mention to, yes, the theme song. Which isn't enough to carry a season by itself, but I would honestly say it's the best Digimon theme song, which is also nice.
