It sucks balls cause as a teen killer Mike in RTJ was an influence towards me having leftist political views. However he contrasts everything he says in RTJ with his actions and statements in reality. I’ve concluded that either he was on that ish and now he’s off it cause “fuck you I got mine” or he realized that there’s a massive market for “revolution” and “conscious” music in hip hop and basically sold an audience what they want to hear, all for the goal of profiting off of it. Makes sense cause RTJ is when his career rly popped too.
