Tor Character Sheet (Patreon)

Tor hits the middle of the road in terms of his design evolution. He was actually the very first of the Delectable characters I drew, before the idea for the comic itself had occurred. I knew he was going to be a waiter or some sort of restaurant worker, that his vibe would be a big-ole country sweetheart and that he would be truly large. As I developed the idea of Delectable, I doodled that wall-press idea, though the personality displayed there ended up being Benny's territory instead.

Originally Tor was meant to be an angus bull, being mostly a charcoal color with a taupe flesh tone for his underbelly and a ruddy brown for highlights. However, as I moved on to figuring out the key color for his chapter, I landed on yellow and felt his tones as they were were too close to Cooper and Cato.

So I shifted his base fur color to a muted dark purple to play better with the yellow. His flesh tones got a bit warmer to compliment that as well.

Tor is the first of the cast to prominently feature tattoos. The big HUNGRY brand was the original but I felt it would suit him to have some more. For some reason I associate food service with being heavily tattooed.
