Curious which song you’ve been gravitating toward the most on the new album!

Darn you making me not able to select all .... It's incredible.

Jay Czaja

Autumn 38 and that refrain at the end. 🥹

Steve Calabro

Literally the hardest question I've faced all day. Could have easily been 4 others but that groove in Tall Grass give it an edge for me. For now at least.

LawyerDash

Very hard question! So many amazing songs

Tootalou

First listen through was The Version. Love all of them now. Hard to pick just one.

Adam Stutsman

I can’t believe you could even ask this question. haha “Here’s a delicious meal — now, which ONE ingredient do you like the best?”

The Pacific Spirit

Maaan, each one brings something interesting to the table! You have to make these choices hard, don't you? But in all seriousness, The Waterfall House has been my obsession since the album released. It's composition is so pretty, the lyrics captivate me, and the song just feels so grandiose and emotional. It's everything I love about your work.

Mattias Mälk

I picked Tall Grass in the Lobby but have to mention that I also really like Processing which I listen on repeat.

David

It's a tossup between The Waterfall House and Tall Grass in the Lobby for me. Both are exceptionally solid tracks with great melodies and unique Falling Up-esque structures

Becka Powell

It may shift as I listen more and get to know the lyrics, but for me, Double Afterlife has the sort of painful, yearning quality that I have connected with on so many Falling Up songs (Falling In Love, Sky Circles, Tomorrows, The Little Robot).

Phax Machine

These are all SUCH good songs.. so it is hard to choose. There is much to be discovered here but I'm still processing it all! That said, I think "Processing" so far has been the track that transports me back to my first, most cherished memories of listening to "Fangs!" and realizing that this thing was WAY more ambitious than any rock music I had listened to before. That's a very special feeling I may never have again, so I am very grateful to have another experience of it when I least expected to. It is obvious that this album is a labor of love but it is clearly also a work of great skill and beauty. Thank you so much to everyone involved!

Phillip Mayhair

How do I pick just one?? It’s a tight race between That’s Reanimation and The Version at the moment. It could change next week, they’re all so good!

The Faunal Frontier

It was really hard to pick. I really resonate with the theme of That’s Reanimation! so I had to pick it (and the vocal layering is *immaculate*) but every song is so strong, and even on my twelfth or thirteenth listen, they feel new. Counter Moves has been growing on me a lot. Five Angle never stops being a musical journey. This poll is cruel!

Blake Watson

On my first listen, Counter Moves grabbed me hard. But damn this whole thing is so good.

Blake Watson

It would be cool to post this poll again in like a month.

Jessy Ribordy

I fought for choosing multiples but Aysha was a negative influence 😅

Jem

i selected waterfall house but in reality it's proooobably a tie between it and the version big fan of processing too.............. and that's reanimation and autumn 38 and tall grass in the lobby hahah

Jem

whole album is a treat!!

Collin

Definitely hard to pick, but I'm a big fan of Tall Grass in the Lobby, Waterfall House, and That's Reanimation!

Adam Sullivan

The entire record is freaking sonic perfection.

Jedi

Tall Grass in the Lobby and That’s Reanimation are tied for my favorite track! That’s Reanimation has been played the most by me tho. It just flows so well :)

Daneel Cayce

choosing after a week feels WEIRD so I'm just going with Autumn 38 for now, since it's the one I've found myself thinking about (and humming) a lot. The answer can and will change over the next.... forever probably. 😅️

Sean

The Waterfall House…the lyrics and mood gave me language to process something I’d been thinking through lately.

Lindsey Will

Oof..that’s such a hard question…I went with “Recruitment”. It just hits me where I’m at now. I asked my mom her fav, it’s “Five Angle”. But honestly ONE favorite doesn’t feel right 😂

J. Vin

Hard to pick favorite song, I was impressed with the album! Tho I have been following gloomcatcher and your personal singles. Mine top song is between processing and double afterlife :) both were stuck in my head. I just love when you do choruses and layer your voice a certain way with a certain delivery. I always appreciate your melodies in the verses

Jeremiah

Counter Moves seems to be slept on. Any song where Jessy shows off the power in his voice is an insta favorite.

Tim Powers

Autumn 38 applies to excessive device usage for me…

Brandon

Care to share your favorite, Jessy? There has to be one

Joel Grohe

Aragorn: 'Noooow there's fire on the mountain, Gondor calls for aid!'

Jeremiah

And Rohan will answer!
