I would love to hear your thoughts on how abrupt the transition of the bridge of Fearless is, do you think that was just a mistake on Joes part? I think melodically the part works and the guest vocal would be fine, but the way the piano comes in feels it’s a different song completely and it always kinda ruined (what I always thought was an otherwise amazing song) for me

So much to take in, but most of all I'm left with the story behind Exhibition - easily my fave track off Exit Lights. The way Rachel delivered those lyrics with a kind of beautiful ferocity lives rent free in my head. As a bonus, hearing Rachel on the album was one of the things that got my then-girlfriend to warm up to Falling Up.
