Patreon is Removing my Audios (Update) (Patreon)

Hi guys!!I think I might've jinxed myself by saying that patreon was a "supportive" platform. I've recently had some ASMR audios removed by Patreon (including my most recent one) due to them "breaking TOS guidelines" and Patreon is claiming that I make "incestuous content". I'm hoping that I can get this cleared soon and the audios will be restored, but I wanted to update you all in case any of your favorite audios go missing. I'm hoping they get restored soon!! 😭 I can't catch a break huh..

They just take it down rather than flaging them? So you can't even check :/ that's silly. You should be able to have the discussion about the audios to justify before they take them down

they flagged it and told me to change it. after i changed different aspects it kept getting auto denied. i'm now "under review" for a few days to see if my changes will be enough to bring it back. hopefully they are!

Sorry to hear about this Sora! It seems every popular platform for audios has an issue with the whole ‘mommy’ thing, which is ridiculous. I don’t think anyone legitimately believes that it’s representative of their actual mothers 🙄

I know this probably isn't ideal, and you'd rather just patreon continue to work as it has. But if it really came to it. You could post you audios to something else. But still use patreon to access them. Like posting them to a sub's only discord channel, and use the patreon/discord integration to allow access to and from the channel. Or a google drive link with passwords posted in each audios post. I'm not sure how well patreon's TOS feels about that. But i have definitely seen creators do it before. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. But keep it in mind should you need to make a change. Personally I'll follow to a different platform if need be to listen to your audios!!! We support you 100% Sora!!! You're the best!!

That really sucks. Hopefully it gets sorted out, but if you have to move to another platform I will follow and continue supporting. Both because I enjoy the content, and out of spite to patreon.

Your community supports your work, and I just can’t believe these platforms are restricting you so much. Is there a way you can send audios directly? I mean if you can send the last audio I mean, I really found comfort in the last one. It’d help a ton if you could, thanks and I hope this isn’t bothering much.

I guess that's a good step. But they should tell you what was against their TOS or guidelines specifically. Not just generalise the whole thing. Such a slow method on both ends bec now it's just back and forth. Wasting your time and there's. Hopefully it's all good now ofc but in future it be better if they had an actual conversation with you so you knew what you did that was idk violating..? Ig there TOS. Idk I'm dyslexic so maybe I'm misreading but to just say, this audio is nono sorry. Just seems lazy. It's fiction, not reality. And to work so hard on something just to have it taken down the next day along with loads of other audios must be heart wrenching, that's so much work. Rather than just talking with you and letting you have a say. Like what's wrong with this and that audio. Why is it ok before and not now. Just seems odd. Idk if this made sense but I'm angry for you 😅 so unfair

Yeah the “mommy” GF content is a little fringe for some. Maybe a disclaimer on the future audios would be an amenable compromise. “Characters are not actually related, it’s a pet name dynamic”

I’m sorry to hear that. Idk if it’s something you would personally want to do, but another ASMRtist I was subbed to on here was having a similar problem, so she made a Fansly account just incase.
