You've inherited your grandfather's hotel on a foreign continent where everything seems fine on the surface, but rarely is. 1. Download the PC version of the game.

2. Unpack the .zip using RAR or your desired unpacking tool.

3. Download Joiplay and the Ren'py plugin through the Google Play store.

4. Launch Joiplay, when your on the main menu click the "+" button on the bottom right. Enter game name, version and (optional) game icon.

5. On the "Executable File" click Choose and go to the location where you downloaded the game, when inside the unpacked game folder choose the .exe game file and click Choose. When all information looks correct, feel free to click on the "Add" button.

6. You're now done and good to go. Have fun! (You may also want to move saves around)

Man. so I'm sort of replaying the game from somewhere near the start(old save from a restart) and MAN, it's a shame Felicity is unlikely to ever have considered the part Emma no doubt has played in keeping her from getting raped and murdered. A felicity running it on her own would have a short run indeed...

I'm having an issue with renpy's joiplay. When I click the game it loads for a sec and then goes back to the joiplay screen. Do you know if there is a way to fix this or if there is another program I can use to play this game on android. Sadly I no longer have a PC.

I recommend downgrading your joiplay app to a previous version. I use 1.11.006 now as I had the same problem before

Just something people might want to note. Ren'py on Joiplay appears to not be working on newer versions of Android right now. There are several reports of Ren'py games failing to launch with no error on the Android Play Store, and I experienced the same problem trying to run HH 0.16 PR2 on my Pixel with Android 13. This doesn't appear to be a problem with HH specifically, but with the current build of Joiplay. Unfortunately, this may make Android play impossible for some users at least right now.

God, it's always so annoying downloading the full game since I only have a Mac, but this game is worth it.

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but I have issues with memory due to a recently diagnosed illness. I currently play on v0.16 PR2. Does this add anything new, or is it a bugfixed version of the pre-release? Or is it even just the public release? Congrats on that if it is, btw :)

Reminder: when starting over from scratch, archive your old saves from both %gamedirectory%/game/saves and the AppData backup directory before deleting them (and the persistent files!) to deconflict with the new game. In Linux, the backup files are in a hidden directory ~/.renpy/HaremHotel-*

You can always compare the patch notes, but that's not very convenient. The main changes between these two versions are remade story for Android

I've been playing this since very early, and up till now have mostly done update by update. This time I kept the saved version I'd been playing, then went back and started a new one from the beginning. Totally totally worth it! I'm 120 days in, and Holy moley I had no idea now much you've changed and broadened the entire story and artwork! I highly recommend that anyone else who has been playing just each new update should really start over. This VN has always been in my top 3 favorites, but with the way you've grown the story from the beginning stages, it's definitely top place. Maybe a tie...*ahem* but definitely second to none.

Do a lot of saves when you come to forked decisions. Trying them all can come to some really comical situations, and you can decide which way you want to go instead of just trying one.

Loved the new update! First used my most recent save to do all new stuff at the end, will probably do a new playthrough too though as I haven't done one in a very long time and you've been actively working through older events to update/change things. There's probably a LOT I haven't experienced yet! Also, love that Vanessa has a piercing now! :D Thank you for adding that <3

I am not sure what you're seeing, but they are not .exe. They are .zip An .exe also wouldn't do much on its own.

Under 100 hours is a speed run that skips a lot of content. Just the main char events take something like 40 hours, then there are maxing stats, side-char events, dating events, dungeon training, testing every outfit and of course you can't play all the events in a row.

It's nice to see my favorite bikini -- the black square one -- showing up on various minor characters (pink haired volleyball girl, pre-introduction Vanessa/purple haired girl, and Zara) here's hoping it will appear on main characters (like Kali) more as well.

I'm getting an exception immediately at the start IOError: Couldn't find file 'images/v15/welcome2.webm'. I will try to re-download patch 15 and apply both.. otherwise I'll have to download 0.16 fresh I guess

This patch is for v0.15+, meaning any build after v0.15 can be updated to this v0.16 build

I downloaded the patch and followed the readme. I also remember to have downloaded the patch for 0.15 back when it came out, I didn't fresh install it either. Reverting to my old archive.rpa, media.rpa and scripts.rpa gets rid of the error. I don't have a game/images/v15 folder, I never had one. Now I am downloading HH-v0.15.1-Patch.zip ...

Yeah, it's 11.5 GB, man, and my connection is super slow. By the way I finished downloading the old patch, the images/v15 folder is not there, and it wasn't needed for v15, apparently. OK I am doing a fresh install, but I think the patch 0.14>0.15>0.16 is somewhat broken

Lucia's got more depth now in 16; before, her being a socialite was what tvtropes.org calls an Informed Attribute...said to exist but never demonstrated by the character. I was a little concerned with adding MORE characters to an already extensive and almost unwieldy cast, but Isabelle, Zara, and PinkHair StarEyes forming Lucia's social circle works perfectly.

I'm looking forward to more of Eris, the goth chick met while exploring Caliber City, but continue to be concerned that (at least for far, no 2nd story yet) the original goth chick is still holding back/overlooked. Still teased but no payoff, of even building towards payoff. Its unfortunate that Ashleys eventual outreach to her former enemies (F&E) doesn't yet include one she's treated almost as cruelly (and with less reason, out of casual selfishness rather than directed malice). And goth outfits now exist for almost all main characters!

On the Info screen, there's a yellow exclamation point next to Sylvia (indicating a quest?). It says "Level 4/4," so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it.

This update is amazing. I like being able to interact with the world outside of the hotel now and the new outfits are nice. Are there any Easter egg or meme-y pet names for the girls? I'm pretty curious

I've found that it's often possible to manually patch the MacOS versions of Ren'py games, but you have to edit the app's package contents to place all the patch files by hand. If you don't know what you're doing it will utterly bork the program and you'll have to re-download anyway.
