Update 24+25 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 24 was won by Brazil+ so it will be done for this update.

I had to reshuffle things little bit, I forgot that this weekend is Easter and I will be busy because of that, I had to move Bulgaria+ to Update 24, because of that, so I apologize for that.

In Update 23 will be added Türkiye, Ethiopia and Sain Lucia + FIFA National competition rework (for FM24 but I'm testing it in FM26 too if it will work).

• Türkiye - added levels 4/5, added changes of format in level 3/4/5 from 2026/27, reworked youth system

• Ethiopia - added 2 levels + cup + youth league

• Sain Lucia - added 2 levels

• FIFA National competition rework - completely reworked major national competitions with possibilies of making them bigger/smaller (more info down below)

This week I started with realization that it will be Easter, so I had to reshuffle things a little bit, I moved Bulgaria+ to next update, because it's really big and I wouldn't have enought time to complete it this week. Another thing is that CONCACAF fix really drained my energy and I will little bit rant about how it works in original database, so if you don't care about this you can go to next paragraph.
I think it is really unbeliveble that Central American Cup is so broken not just in FM26 but even more in FM24 where for some reason from Panama were qualifying U20 teams. In FM26 it is configured that from each Central American nation it should take best teams, which works correctly when league has normal format without any playoffs and it will take teams from 1st place down. Problem is that all Central American nations have formats with apertura/clausura and multiple playoffs, in which case this rule doesn't work and the game is taking random teams. But even if those leagues had "normal" format, it would still not work correctly, because for some reason setup date for Central American Cup is 1st February (it is date in which the Cup is taking the qualified teams), but every nation except Panama uses autumn/spring system, in which case it would take teams from season before or how they are in table in February, so in original it is big mess and it is like that for years. Even more funny is that whichever team plays Central American Cup cannot play any other matches in that time, which is again something that was there in FM24, there were no prize money, no sorting rules when teams have same amount of points, this also applies to Caribbean Cup.
In the end I fixed it, but the prize was compatibility with other databases, because in case of Central American Cup I had to manually do the qualification from each nation, Caribbean Cup is changed a little bit, so it takes winner and runner-up of those nations that played it in 2025.

Now let's talk about Türkiye, added are levels 4/5, added are changes in formats, in case of level 3 it is going from 37 teams to 36 teams that are divided into 2 groups. Level 4 will go from 64 teams and 4 groups to 54 teams and 3 groups, there is no info about how it will look level 5 because it is based on number of teams that will play it but I changed it based on number of relegated teams from level 4, so from 2026/27 will level 5 have 9 groups with 14 teams in each group. Reworked is again youth system, so you will get automatically youth team into playable league.

In Ethiopia are added 2 levels with main cup and U20 league.

Sain Lucia is kind of problematic, because "club" league was last time played in 2023, but since then they play only with "district" teams which are not in database, so added is the old system and the new one will have to be added with plus database.

FIFA National competition rework is something I was working for few months, my idea was make something similiar to AFC/CAF reworks and other thing was that I wanted to have Russia, Greenland and Monaco in qualifications at the same time. First thing is that this is version 1.0, only thing from "main" competitions are missing are League of Nations, which I'm not a big fan, but I still plan to implement them later. In depth descriptions of each qualfication/competion will be in text file like always. So list of reworked things (listed like in game tab):

Finally African Nations Championship Qualifiers is played by "B" teams and you will not get 50 messages about why you didn't nominate it him, even though rules don't allow it, because it is played by players that are playing in that nation. There is lots of things and if you have some knowledge with editor it is kind of easy to change. There are some missing competitions which will be added in plus version.

In Update 24 will be added Bulgaria+ and Brazil+. Brazil+ is very big and with all the changes that they have so I don't think there will be time for anything else, but if there will be I want to make work CFU Club Shield, so CONCACAF Fix is fully completed.

Voting for Update 25 will have India (level 4), Australia (level 4), South Africa+ (level 3), South Korea (with added format changes from 2027) and Argentina (level 3).
