Update 26+27 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 26 was won by Australia so it will be done for this update.

In Update 25 will be added Argentina and Brazil.

• Argentina - added level 3, added correct qualification for Argentina Cup, reworked finances, start possible in both seasons 2025 and 2026

• Brazil - added level 4, added levels 2-5 of State Championships, reworked U20 pyramid, added U17 pyramid, start possible in both seasons 2025 and 2026 (only Serie A-Serie D)

This week is about South America and mostly about Brazil. When I was starting to work on Brazil I had two choices, first was making the new changes in system first in FM24 and after that reworking it for FM26, second was starting from zero in FM26 but already with the new changes in system, my choice was logically the first one, but when I had around 50% done there were some problems when I was testing it and because of that I changed it to plan B and started from zero. I still plan to make the changes for FM24 but I was little bit worried that there would be more problems which would cause needing more time.
Good thing is that all of it happened on Monday so I still had enough time to start from zero, right now State Championships level 2/3 are done with their correct formats. I used how teams are in State Championships based on season 2026, I don't believe there will be enough time to finish everything and make how clubs were in 2025 in State Champioships, but I still plan to do it in future.
Levels 4/5 are only in Rio and Sao Paulo and that will be easily made. Today/tonight I will be working on U20 pyramid + finishing levels 4/5. Over weekend I will be working on Serie D and correct qualifications and how everything around works, that is the most difficult thing about all the system, if everything will go well, there should be enough time to finish U17 pyramid, which right now is working but needs little bit more work on the formats. But plan is to push it to the limit over the weekend so everything is finished. I will return to finish Brazil with State Leagues how it was in 2025 in two weeks, because I need a little rest from Brazil.

In Argentina are added both divisions of level 3, the Metropolitan one have easy format, in 2025 with apertura/clausura, from 2026 just normal league where teams play twice each other. Torneo Federal is little bit more difficult where there are multiple phases and playoffs, but everything is recreated as in reality. Changed are finances, so teams don't have "fixed money" no matter their standing and everything is based on results. There are specific qualification rules for Argentinian Cup which are added.

In Update 26 will be added Australia with adding 4 levels, same way like for FM24 I plan to add two versions, where one will be like in reality and one where there will be promotions between all levels. With Australia will be finished Austria (levels 8-10), Vanuatu, I will try to create Caribbean Shield and the qualifications there and there will be update for FM24 where there will be updated nations (Bulgaria+, Central American nations, etc.).

As little bit of celebration of finishing FIFA National Rework I will put in voting creating more custom nations for FM24 (Hokkaido, Easter Islands, Catalonia, Northern Cyprus, Guernsey, etc), you can send me message or comment what nations you would want, if it will win there will be another voting (from Friday to Monday) about choosing the custom nation, winner will be created, but I believe there will be more time to create 2-3 more nations so second/third placed will have big chance to be created.

Last thing is that I added pack of all Updates for FM26 to one post so you don't have to download it one by one, same thing I plan for FM24, but that will be after the next update.

Voting for Update 27 will have Custom Nation for FM24, Russia (level 4), South Africa+ (level 3), South Korea (with added format changes from 2027) and Latvia+ (full pyramid + youth system)
