Update 27+28 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 27 was won by Russia so it will be done for this update.

In Update 26 will be added Australia, Austria (levels 8-10) and Vanuatu.
In Update 89 (FM24) will be added updated Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria/Bulgaria+, Ethiopia, Gibraltar, Guatemala/Guatemala+, Honduras/Honduras+, Mauritania and Switzerland+.

• Australia - added levels 2-4, added version where there is a promotion/relegation between level 1/2

• Austria - added levels 8-10 (full pyramid)

• Vanuatu - added level 1 + cup + youth league

for FM24:

• Argentina - some minor changes in cup competitions

• Bosnia and Herzegovina - added new format of levels 1-3 from season 2025/26, updated finances and player rules

• Bulgaria/Bulgaria+ - added new format of levels 1/2 from 2025/26, updated finances and player rules

• Ethiopia - added new format of levels 1/2 from 2024/25 and changes for level 1 from 2025/26, updated finances

• Gibraltar - updated player rules

• Guatemala/Guatemala+ - added new format for level 1 from 2025/26, updated player rules

• Honduras/Honduras+ - added new format for level 1 from 2025/26, updated player rules

• Mauritania - updated player rules

• Switzerland+ - added second/reserve teams for all teams in levels 1-5, added secondary fields for Liechtenstein teams (for stadiums that have secondary fields), updated player rules in lower division for reserve teams

This week is divided between FM26 and FM24, but first we start with FM26. Australia is little specific one with they system, where A-League (level 1) is closed and 2 level, which is technically level 3, because Australian Championship is seen as level 2, which is competition between winners of National Premier League (there is 8 leagues) and there are outside of National Premier League leagues that belong to Northern Territory, so it's kind of complicated. Some of the leagues have lower division with promotion/relegation and some of them don't. Based on all those things some things are little bit changed so they work in game.

In Austria are added levels 8-10, where level 8 is last level practically for all regions (it has 40 divisions), with this full pyramid of Austria is completed.

Vanuatu is very complicated, there are multiple leagues (each island has it's own league), where the biggest one is in capital city (Port Vila), winner of each league qualify into Champions Tournament which is played on one place and winner is champion of Vanuatu. There is lack of any information about any league that is not the Port Vila one, but from infromation I saw, most of those league quality is like if you would go play with your friends football behind your house, added are kits for some teams (to those that I found information).

For FM24 most work is done in Switzerland+, where I play a save, so thanks to that I'm see some more in-depth things, all teams in levels 1-5 have added second/reserve team (those which didn't have any), in Liechtenstein are added secondary/tercerary stadiums (for those that have one), changed are rules for players for reserve teams in lower leagues, because some default configuration is automatically blocking players older U23.
In rest of the nations are added future changes in format/rules/finances, I still have some ideas for updating some things (in Slovakia+ adding new format of level 3 for example), but I'm not sure if there will be enough time to complete it.

In Update 27 will be added Russia where will be added levels 3/4, I'm not sure if there is possibility to create custom nations like in FM24 (to put Russia back in continental cups), but I think it isn't so it would have to be swapped with other existing nation, which I'm not really a fan, so I first need to look more into it, if it will be possible. With Russia will be added Belarus, which will be last European nation that needs to be finished. Additionally will be added something from Asia (Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore/UAE).

Voting for Update 28 will have Custom Nation for FM24, India (level 4), South Africa+ (level 3), South Korea (with added format changes from 2027) and Latvia+ (full pyramid + youth system)
