Update 30+31 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 30 was won by Argentina (level 4, FM24/FM26) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 29 will be added Belgium+, Guatemala, UAE and Uzbekistan.

• Belgium+ - added level 6, added provincial cups, added more youth leagues

• Guatemala - added level 1 + youth leagues (U20/U18)

• UAE - added 4 levels, added main cup + league cup + lower league cup + super cup, added youth leagues (U23/U21, U19) + youth international cup

• Uzbekistan - added 2 levels + cup + super cup + U21 League + U19 League, added possible start in both seasons (2025 or 2026)

This week is mostly about Belgium, there is lots of interesting things that can be added in plus version, the only problem is that website of FA with information about each leagues/cups is horrible, it is the worst one in Europe, I found other website with good information about leagues, but cups/youth leagues/youth cups are mostly only on that. That's why work on cups and youth leagues is slow, but in the end it will be done. All leagues in level 6 are using period system, which is implemented.

Guatemala is problematic, that's why only level 1 is done, I spent I don't know how many hours working on level 2 and to make it work, but I don't have any luck (even though in FM24 it works...), so for now there will be only level 1 or maybe some simplified level 2 will be added (the format is little bit complicated).

UAE have very specific rules with "residents" which are technically foreigners but they are not seen as foreigners and because UAE is newly officially in game, I was very curious about what they did about "resident" rules. The answer is nothing, SI just ignored it, which I guess will surprise no one. Added are all 4 levels (full pyramid), added are all cups with newly reborn FA Cup which is played only with clubs from levels 2-4. In level 1 I kind of bypassed the rule because there can be only U21 residents, so I used normal foreigner players. Problem is in level 2 where I will probably use homegrown rules, if they will work, because in FM24 were broken outside of Europe. Added are youth leagues U23/U21 and U19 and international youth cup Mina Cup. Added is more information to teams that had none.

Uzbekistan is going through some changes practically every year, this time level 2 is expanded from 6 teams (2025) to 14 teams (2026), newly are added U21 and U19 championships.

Another thing I was working on is unannounced full pyramid of one of the european nation and it is massive amount of work and I want to finish it this month or at the start of the next month. I was acutally making female version of database but because I found the Belgium provincial cups, I moved it to next update, so you will know more next week.

In Update 30 will be added Argentina level 4 for FM24 and FM26, in both versions will be added future changes of formats in level 4. For FM26 will be added China and because there will be something new for FM24 I will use it to make some updates for database for FM24.

Voting for Update 31 will have South Africa+ (level 3), Ecuador+ (level 3), Spain+ (level 6), South Korea (with added format changes from 2027) and Bolivia+ (level 2)
