Update 31+32 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 31 was won by Spain+ so it will be done for this update.

In Update 30 will be added Argentina (level 4), China and women's North Macedonia, Moldova, Romania and Serbia.

In Update 90 (FM24) will be added Argentina (level 4) and updated Andorra, France/France+, Belgium+, Slovakia+, UAE.

• China - added level 3, added possibility to start in both seasons (2025, 2026)

• W North Macedonia - added level 1 + cup

• France/France+ - changed rules for reserve teams, added consequences for teams that go to administration because of bad financial situation

• UAE - updated finances and player rules, added FA Cup (cup for level 2-4) that is playable from 2025

This week is divided between work on FM24 and FM26. Argentina is made for both versions, added is level 4, which is divided into two divisions, Metropolitan is the easier one, where is only one league. Other division is Torneo Regional, this one I had to make more simple, because in reality it has multiple stages and first is divided into reginoal leagues, which are not in database (it is more than 80 leagues), so it is kind of mix of reality with making it work in game, from 2027 it will change into new format that should be used from that year.

In China is added level 3, where is special rule with promoting team from U21 league, this rule is added little bit simplified but it's working. Updated are finances and player rules. Because there are wage caps and total wage cap for foreigner players, there will be version without these limits.

Newly are added four nations on women side, added are North Macedonia, Moldova, Romania and Serbia, in all of them are added more informations to clubs, because in some of the nations the teams had only name.

In Andorra it is little bit difficult with foreigner players, because there are no limits how many foreigner players teams can have but those players have to have resident permit (which means that they will live and work in Andorra at least for 183 days). In simulations I saw that teams just signing everything they can which is unrealistic, so added is now that teams have to pay signing fee for every foreigner player (2,500 euro), which is not a lot but it should slow down the signing spree of all teams.

In France I have little problem with reserve teams, because in few seasons level 4 is just reserve league, problem is that there are no real limits for reserve teams (except that player that player 10 matches for "A" team cannot play for reserve) but teams mostly used it as U21 team because there are licence regulation for academies and reserve teams, which stipulate playing young players, based on that are added how mana O21 players can be in matchsquad, so teams really used it mostly for young players.
Another thing that I tested in France is making teams pay for their bad finances. Right now if team have bad finances and goes to administartion, the only consequence is transfer ban and selling some players and after that some new owner will come and just deletes the debt. In France it is added that when team enters administration it will additionally get -45 points (only in professional level 1-3), which for most teams will mean relegation. From my perspective it is more realistic, because in lots of leagues we can see that teams are relegated for their financial problems. I plan to add it to more databases, because I think in long term saves it is adding something new.

In Belgium are added provincial cups that were added for FM26 version.

In Slovakia are updated rules, added some new teams, added some balancing for finances.

In UAE are updated finances/player rules, added is FA Cup that is played from season 2025/26 with teams from levels 2-4.

And I continue to work on the unannounced full pyramid of one of the european nation and that nation is part of the newly added women's nations.

In Update 31 will be added Spain+ (level 6), which is big but at the same time I will be preparing the database for level 7, which is massive and it will need even more work. With Spain+ will be added India/Chad/South Africa.

Voting for Update 32 will have Malaysia+ (level 4), Ecuador+ (level 3), Belgium+ (level 7), Finland+ (level 7) and Bolivia+ (level 2)
