Update 34+35 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 34 was won by Finland+ (level 7) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 33 will be added Portugal+, Mayotte, São Tomé and Príncipe, South Africa, W Austria and W Poland.

• Portugal+ - added level 6 + added Regional cups/regional youth cups (but most of them don't have updated format from FM24)

• Mayotte - added 2 levels + cup

• São Tomé and Príncipe - added 2 levels + cup + youth league

• South Africa - added level 3, corrected youth leagues, corrected finances/rules

• W Austria - added 2 levels + cup
  W Poland - added 2 levels + cup

This week most of the work goes to Portugal and level 6, I made some changes in level 5 in Porto leagues where the "Elite" is moved to be correctly level 6 and in level 5 it is replaced with "Pro League" that was newly created in 2024. There are added missing teams and things around them. Regional Cups are playable but I will not have enough time to compare their formats/schedules with the current season, so some of them will be updated and some of them will have it like in 2023/24, the same thing is with youth regional cups. Reworked are little bit levels 2/3 of youth league, because there is a block for promotion to level 1 for teams from Azores and Madeira, which may be realistic but not very player experience friendly, so I changed things little bit so anyone can get youth team to level 1.

Mayotte is another league that belongs to Regional France leagues, added are two levels + regional French Cup rounds, which qualification will work correctly only with France version that will be in this update.
São Tomé and Príncipe has level 1 divided into two leagues based on which island teams reside, winners of each league play big final for the title, the same thing goes to cup which is first played only in each island and winners play final match for the cup.

South Africa is little bit difficult because in level 3 there is so many missing things (at least 50% teams are missing and teams that are there mostly don't have city/stadium and even kits), I did what I could without compromising compatibility, but best way to experience level 3 will be through plus version like in FM24. Changed are some things around youth competitions, because normally U18 teams play in adult level 4/5, teams additionally have reserve teams and there is a reserve league, so I made some changes so there are no collisions.

From women databases are added my neighbouring countries of Austria and Poland, in both are added 2 levels and cups + added more information to some teams that had none.

In Update 34 will be added level 7 of Finland, so there will be only levels 8/9 missing, which are only in some regions, like always will be added missing leagues/clubs/cities/stadiums. With Finland will be added Cape Verde, Egypt, Armenia levels 3/4 and from women's part probably Armenia/Finland/Norway.

Next voting will be for something that will be done in two weeks, because I have some plans over weekend 27/28 so I will have less time to work on things, so voting will be for something that will take more time. There will be some smaller update so something like 35.5 where I will start with builiding Japan from zero. Maybe you saw that Japan is changing the format to autumn/spring and that makes the FM24 database kind of not very usable and I want to have that change simulated in game, because SI added some things that is making it possible, the downside is that I have to start from scratch.

And of course I still work on the full pyramid of Romania, so if your guess was that the unannounced project is Romania than you were correct. There is added around 1000 new clubs, around same number of cities and stadiums, with regional youth leagues and even some rivalries between teams, there is really lots of new stuff. So if you ever dreamed about having full pyramid of Romania in FM then it's very close to be finished.

Voting for Update 35 will have Slovakia+ (level 6), Spain+ (level 7), USA+ (level 4 + NCAA), Portugal+ (level 9, full pyramid) and China+ (level 4)

As always thank you for your support and I wish you nice weekend :)
