Update 35+36 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 35 was won by Slovakia+ (level 6) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 34 will be added Finland+, Egypt, W Finland, W Norway and W Egypt.

• Finland+ - added everything around level 7, possible start in both seasons (2025 or 2026), added Roots Cup (it is cup for best 8 teams in Finland Cup that are at most at level 7)

• Egypt - added level 2, added changes in level 1/2 between 4 seasons, added youth leagues

• W Finland - added 2 levels + cup, added possible start in both seasons (2025 or 2026)

• W Norway - added 3 levels + cup, added changes in format in level 1 between seasons, added possible start in both seasons (2025 or 2026)

• W Egypt - added 1 level + cup

This week is mostly about Finland and their level 7, I had to change little bit my original plans because some things were bigger than I expected, so Cape Verde and Armenia+ are moved to next week.
Finland level 7 is last level in northern region and penultmate in east region, that's why both are smaller but west/south regions are on contrary big. Added are all missing teams with cities/stadiums (in both seasons 2025 and 2026), there are again problems like in Denmark where some teams have too many teams (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and even 6th team in adult pyramid) which makes things difficult because FM allow only 3 of those teams, so I had to change things little bit. Added is newly Roots Cup that is played with 8 teams that are in level 7 or lower that had best results in Finland Cup, it works same like Region's Cup, where only teams from level 5/6 are used.

Egypt is going through changes in format where in 4 seasons will go from 21 teams in level 1 to only 18, this all is added with level 2. There is a talk about changing foreign player rules, where it should be lowered in next few years, but nothing official, so it is not implented right now. Added are youth leagues, updated finances and added more informations to some teams that had none.

From women side are added Finland, Norway and Egypt. Norway belongs to one of the top leagues in the world, there is expansion to 12 teams between seasons 2025/2026, they are little bit secretive about finances, where there is not much public information, so I had to work with what is avaible.
Finland has iteresting relegation playoff format in level 1, where it is played by 2 teams from level 1 + 4 teams from level 2 as a league, they are not that secretive as Norway so it was easier to make.
And last is Egypt, which has normal format with 16 teams, league is more or less poloprofessional and at least there were some good information about player rules and finances.

Next Update will be 34.5 where will be added Japan, Cape Verde and Armenia+ and in two weeks will be Update 35 where will be added Slovakia+ and it's level 6, what else will be added with Slovakia I will know next week, so more information about that will be next week.

Voting for Update 36 will have South Africa+ (level 3), Spain+ (level 7), USA+ (level 4 + NCAA), Portugal+ (level 9, full pyramid), Netherlands (levels 5/6) and China+ (level 4)
