Update 48+49 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 48 was won by Uruguay+ (adding OFI leagues) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 47 will be added updated Albania/Albania+, Algeria/Algeria+, Ecuador+, Nigeria, Switzerland+ and W Switzerland.

• Albania/Albania+ - added format changes in 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, added player rules changes

• Algeria/Algeria+ - added promotion playoff to level 2

• Ecuador+ - added level 3, added changes in format of level 3 between 2025/2026 seasons

• Nigeria - updated championship stage for level 2

• Switzerland+ - added newly promoted teams to level 7 to database

• W Switzerland - added 2 levels + cup

This week is mostly about Ecuador and its level 3, there are changes in the regional stages between seasons and like always those changes are added. Level 3 has 22 regional leagues (there are 24 regions in Ecuador, only Napo and Galápagos don't have regional league), each has their own system, all of the leagues are made so number of teams can be expanded or decreased, so relegated teams from level 2 go to correct region. Possible start either in 2025 or 2026 season.

In Albania they have big changes in format in level 1/2, first changes start in 2026/27 and from 2027/28 there are new formats for both levels + level 1 has increase of teams in league. There are some changes in foreinger player rules too. All future changes are added in both versions.

Some minor changes are added in Algeria/Algeria+ and Nigeria.

In Switzerland+ are added to database newly promoted teams to level 7 (around 100), so it can be made faster for FM27.

Newly is added women's side of swiss football, added are 2 levels and cup.

For Update 48 will be made Uruguay and it's OFI league system, I plan to completely rework it and made it so it's easier to move for FM27. There will be again some more updated nations and maybe something new for women's side.

Voting for Update 49 will have South Africa+ (level 3), Japan (level 6), Sweden+ (level 6), South Korea+ (level 5), Tunisia+ (level 3)

As always thank you for your support and I wish you nice weekend :)
