For a long time one of my least favourite designs in the original LL was the cumslave enemy. It did not spark joy - never quite did.

While I was enamoured with the idea of a fallen heroine being encountered as an enemy on the other side of the battle, the execution and the art of the character disappointed me some.

The original sprites are not up to the visual standards of LL:E

So, a full rework is in order. It's time to replace the sprites of the slave enemy, and give her an uplift to the quality of recent artwork.

But hold on...

Surely we can do better than that?

You should know by now that I'm not content to just do the bare minimum and move on. Your dear Ancestress is a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these things, so I had a great idea.

Slave variations! If they're meant to be fallen heroines, then shouldn't they look like the very heroines you play as?

I thought so. So I came up with the following idea:

A little more creativity, I hope.

The idea is that when you encounter the slave enemy, you can encounter each one of four variations. They don't do anything visually, they're just there to add a little more variety to the enemy.

They're based on each of the four 'main' classes, the ones people are most familiar with.

I asked the ever-talented DonGorbleone to help me with sketches for the concept. Here's what Don came up with:

Pretty fucking cool, right?

I hope you like this change and consider it as much of an improvement over the original as I do!

With love,Ancestress

What about a corrupted version that has been turned into a futa from being captured for so long? Yeah I know.... I rarely comment unless it's a futa suggestion 🤪

Awesome, so much better! Little suggestion: to reinforce the enemy theme, maybe add some light bondage-themed accessories to them, like collars or wrist irons, etc.?

I assume this would be a lot more work but since there are 4 different skins could they behave differently? For example the vestal slave prioritizes healing and buffing, the crusader defends, plague doctor debuffs, etc.

Sorry, I am at work and reading between people so must have missed that.

Man, that's a brilliant idea, and DonGorbleone's sketches already look amazing; I can't wait to see more :D

Smiling_Imp

Yes, it's clearly better 👌

Love the visual changes, DonGorbleone is an amazing artist. Reminds me a bit of the Collector's summons, but actually given a body. The four classes give just enough visual variety without being too much work, I hope. The pro gamer move would be to do one for every class and then assign each specific class variation to the region that players would most likely bring them to, but that's just me asking for too much. Thanks you for all the hard work that you put into Lustiest Lair.

yeah, was wondering if it is problem on my end or other don't see them as well.

Very good idea I'm looking forward to see in execution. I really like combining LE with Fallen heroes already, so essentially getting an in-house version of the mod, even at a reduced scale, is really nice. I wish this concept gets a lot more exploration down the line, since the entire "heroines that got captured" would fit really well with the general vibe of LE, since there's so much capturing going on everywhere.

still can't see them for some reason, still i love all the work so far so i know i won't be dissapointed.

it says the last 4 images are no longer available, anyone know where else I could find them?
