Another interesting thing about cutting out the gradients is that Sylvias hair is just cool and stripey instead of gradiating down the plait :P (also Juliens hat looks like it's made of cheese now, I'm leaning into it...)

But yeah you can see in the rough colour I'm pretty much only using shading where I need to distinguish the forms or add depth, instead of following...how light would actually work :P.
