I'm yet to watch this show so that sentence is so wild out of context lmao

Nah people were clearly hyping up the Dick battle... But yeah major cliff hanger for the Season finale. Great episode and looking forward to another great reaction from you next week!

Damn, my comment got very long. Yamada was planning on dipping on the last day, so she was having a hard time enjoying the trip because she was feeling the guilt of leaving Ichikawa alone on a trip he was really looking forward to, considering his past experiences with school trips. She is kinda putting Ichikawa first, but she was totally going to the audition, hence why she can't delete the calendar event. I really commend Ichikawa in this arc. Instead of feeling like Yamada chose her work over him, he felt bad making Yamada go through this problem. He knows how much Yamada loves her work and Kimi-iro Octave, so he instantly thinks about her instead of himself. Despite wanting a kiss and being excited about the school trip after his dark past with school trips, he still thinks about Yamada first. I think that as important as the audition was for Yamada, the school trip was just as important for Ichikawa, yet he still values what's important for Yamada more than what's important for him. Imagine being in Ichikawa's shoes; it's going to be tough, especially when Yamada is auditioning for the role of heroine for another guy. He isn't even thinking about that because he cares for her so much. I've been in the same position, and it wasn't an easy decision to let your girl be with someone else, even if it was for work or a school event. As much as I want Yamada to do what she loves, I still hate the entertainment industry lol. She might have a role where she needs to kiss or be intimate with someone else, and I hate it. With the trend of segs scene in the industry here in the US, I dislike the industry even more because it is not even relevant to most of the shows, series, or movies it is added on. I think that segs or kissing is overrated in movies, shows, etc. I know this sounds petty, but still! These things are meant for lovers, and the reason why relationships aren't as strong as what relationships were before is that it is normalized to do what lovers do with people you don't actually love

I went back and read the manga for this part and I realized that there was too much for them to cover to reach certain parts in this episode, unless they skipped content.

Shin-Ei literally Blue-balled us...

Apparently something SHOULD’VE happened this episode, it’s kinda important for the bedroom scene that we get a cliffhanger for at the end. This isn’t the first time they’ve gone out of order or slightly edited the story so I wonder what they will do for the season finale

How can there only be one episode left, we need more! LOL. I agree this was a great setup episode and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it would seem something was expected to happen here that likely will next time. Guess we shall see! Also love how Ichikawa put the pieces together and quickly figured out what was really going on and how much he empathizes with Yamada. Can't wait to see how everything plays out in the finale. Looking forward to the OP/ED reactions for this and Frieren as well.
