It's quite clear that this is going to be a show about how each of them teach each other about love. Hence why I think they changed the title to a Condition Called Love as well. One has a condition where he wants to do everything for his partner at the cost of himself, while the other has the condition that her own worth is lacking and doesn't probably deserve love.

Also, from personal experience, the whole "soulmate" or "The One" idea can really screw up a person's thinking unfortunately. The fact that it's also a teenager dealing with this is when of course such ideals about love have the heaviest influence on the mind and emotions.
