Nothing wrong with your take or your opinion concerning this and Solo Leveling, Solo Leveling had it's slow moments and didn't have as much comedy involved as this show. This one has a good elements of both which makes it enjoyable from the rip. As some have said, the 12 episodes we got with Solo Leveling is almost like the prologue, it really begins after he gets the job of Shadow Monarch. This on the other hand gets started pretty quickly and hits on the gas with in the first two episodes and will continue to do as we move forward. We each enjoy different things and have different opinions and there is nothing wrong with that. I'll be honest that I too am enjoying this a bit more than Solo Leveling due to the comedy moments.

yeah i agree that this is quite a bit better than SL was, but obviously i've read the manga, season 2/3 should be MUCH closer to this.

JustAway

yeah I agree, I liked both EP 1 and 2 more than any episode in SL

I am gonna be honest here solo leveling feels like the generic MC loser to winner and only he matters harem protag number 125896156... I read the manghwa back when and i simply dropped it. ONLY THE MC MATTERS NOTHING ELSE. That is why i cant enjoy those type of shows. Look at how well Frieren handles that similar OP mc is comparison.
