I think Iori made the right move turning her down. It would have made things weird between them as she says, but also imagine the implications if Chisa or Aina found out. They would legitimately see him in a different/bad way since there would be no misunderstanding, especially since it was a clear and sober desicion and not some drunken antic or whatever.
