from what I know the translation are pretty accurate this episode. They went back a fixed their mistakes with the first 2 episodes. They also got someone new to do the translations and they working with the fans to make sure the translations are faithful as possible

He should have said something like how is he not affected by the puppet control, and then the “damage transfer” part comes after when he tries touching his neck to use “damage transfer” to move the wound. Former seer confused me too. I was leaning towards it either meaning he changed pathway or move up the sequence of his seer pathway. Roselle was very sure about not being able to change pathways as he was regretful of not picking one of the three paths. Also the second episode subs when you saw them didn't mention all the details like sequence and pathways for each character introduced so you couldn't distinguish the difference between sequence and pathways.
