Actually Samue is the outfit that Gojo wears. Traditionally worn by Buddhist monks for working around the temple or as Gojo does by craftsmen. The girls simply mistake Gojoj for doing an Occupational Cosplay. The Couple Aura grows! Neither Amane nor the editor are buying Gojo’s denials. Again with the walk away scene just showing their legs and the ep 1 head tilt up, their growing synchronization of these little moves are just a delightfully subtle indication of just how close they are becoming. Seeing it in motion just has so much more impact than the manga panels. The Karaoke scene hits different in the manga since these two events were switched for the anime. Gojo’s conversation with Amane sets up the realization that Non-chan was the only person who has put him down.

Oh ok, I had no idea that that scene was supposed to happen AFTER this, that makes a lot of sense actually. Surprised they did that as it kinda ruins the continuity for his realization.

I think the reason was that they wanted to get the season off to a high impact start. Starting with this arc was probably perceived as a soft launch. It's a highly competitive season.

During the Birthday party scene, if you go back and watch it and see what Marin says it can easily be stated that she is also expressing her emotions concerning Gojo.

Yeah that scene order was weird for sure. They could have rectified it by showing gojo mentioning about his karaoke episode. Then it will be a cool adaptation difference.
