I loved the opening shot teasing the climax of the episode. CloverWorks really flexing. Look at all the details of class 1-5! I noticed NPC’s that never caught my attention while reading the manga. Look That shot from the front side angle of the class. All of the characters are so detailed you almost don’t notice Marin is in the frame, I worried about production quality with CW doing three shows this season but so far it’s been nothing but an improvement on the great work of S1. Then the shift to the shojo art style.💯 As usual, the fictional source mixes from several IRL sources. I see elements from Maid-sama, Ouran High School Host Club and Maria Watches Over Us. If I were forced to make the very hard choice of a favorite arc of the manga, this one we’re starting would be it. You can already see the impact it will have on Gojo's growth and the hints about the direction Marin’s character arc will take.

At some point you need to watch How I Attended an All Guys Mixer. Similar story to the fake anime we see in this episode.

I will say about the mid stuff, since it's a battle between me and Xannis, but that is just one opinion. The show/manga is a rom com about cosplay/slice of life even at times. It seems some people think that the pace should be that of a battle shonen.

I feel like we’re speeding through the story I hope they aren’t trying to wrap everything left this season but then again idk if there’s enough content to make a third season.

One of my favorite parts of the opening is when they show all the cosplay eyes which are actually all the manga volume covers.

Not really speeding. The season starts off with two short manga arcs, albeit reversed in order. S2 started right where S1 left off, The beginning of Vol 6 of 15 (ch40). They have only cut some detail panels that are more than made up for by others they have expanded on and introducing a character who had been cut from S1. As of this ep. we are at the end of ch53. Most of the manga readers agree the most likely end of S2 will be ch87. looking at the pacing of the first 4 eps I am now inclined to agree. That would be 7 ch. more than covered in S1 so that would require some major edits. My personal theory is they are going to lift a sub-arc from the final arc of the season. This sub-arc deals with Marin's character development and has no impact on the Marin-Gojo relationship and chronologically can be moved to a later point in the story. Combined with an epilogue chapter just released and a promised side story yet to come, there should be more than enough material for a third season .
