Honestly probably my least favorite episode so far. Dialogue and overall episode pacing were way too fast, and the dialogue flat out didn't make sense sometimes. Moments didn't really hit and to be honest I don't really like Mai lol

btw the implied meaning of being ''held'' was sex. mai wanted to have sex with someone she didn't love (to atone for what she did and feel what renako felt, i guess?)

yeah even given the real meaning thats still weird as fuck, i get its like "im going to be "assaulted" because i don't want to do it with this person." even if she's initiating but thats still just so weird lol

Yeah i agree with the rooftop scene and would even call it gaslighting, sure she could have just said stop to be clear but the initiative came from Mai. And then coping by doing whatever she wanted to do is super fucked. But..... it can happen. If they take this and adress it properly it can be a good conclusion. And then they did the worst and made it look like Mai's way is the right one.
