Told you were my fucking around, actually really like Shiki as a scruffy protagonist that’s still able to feel for others I feel like usually that ability would be like end game material but here it’s the first real antagonist introduced lmao

This episode was incredibly dark and fucked up, but I am actually glad this shows the dark side of war, and just how disturbed some people can be. Not all shonen are willing show this. I'm also glad that this actually goes into detail about the support side of war. Supporters are just as important, if not more-so, than front line combatants. I'm also always happy to see Naito/Mudano/Danny. He's just so fucking cool. And hot. And Kyoya is really cool, he's also hot, but he is really cool and I love him already. Overall, this episode was really good, and I am excited to see what happens next episode!

Also, I'm gonna so real here. It's so weird hearing people say "demon" instead of "Oni". Oni just sounds so much cooler than demon, even if they are kinda the same. In Japansese folklore, the depiction of Oni is also a lot cooler than western demons. As Oni are not always depicted as evil, compared to how demons are depicted here in the west.

I just had a wild thought at 3 in the morning. What if this season ends with a GIANT battle, that leaves like 2 or 3 important characters dead. It's unlikely to happen, but that'd be pretty cool and different from other shonen shows.
