Irl, I forgive the fans a little more because... Well, they bet a lot of money and lost lmao. In the game, in story mode, gold ship wants to go in the stands and fight the people booing. It's sweet. Rice shower had a very up and down career. Seemingly, he'd get up for big races and then just kind of do ok for stretches of time. His rep would change for the better when he raced in the 95 tenna sho and won again , which was after a rough period in the local area. So fans cheered him as a hero for returning pride to the community. This isn't in the anime, so it's safe to tell you. Rice and grass wonder had the same jockey, which they allude to here vaguely. The jockey liked to track a specific horse and follow them . Which is likely why his horses excelled at underdog races. The scene between ikuno and McQueen is actually very sweet because in irl, ikuno diktus was a female horse who had a child with McQueen. Even though both mated with others, as expected of race horses, they were considered romantic together and even got "married". Ikuno is called McQueen's first love. Yeah, I'm talking horse romance. This show does weird things to us.

"Fuck the fans" - Bluest 2025 - I can finally elaborate on one of the points from last time, the real Teio did, in fact, get injured multiple times over the course of his career. Every injury you see in the show corresponds to a real Teio injury - The dagger on Rice Shower's outfit is because of the "Black Assassin" nickname - The new record thing does in fact refer to the fact that Rice Shower's run was the fastest anyone has ever ran the Spring Tenno Sho at that time. The IRL Rice Shower also set the record during the 1993 Spring Tenno Sho, which wouldn't be surpassed until 1997

In the game between the characters differents side stories where you meet them, the Rice Shower side story messed me up in 5 minutes, crying speedrun. I'm also watching the anime for the first time and discovering how great of a character she is in the anime too messed me up again, damn, it's just so good
