I actually haven’t seen 8 yet so 6 so far is my favorite I love what it did for Shikis Character [probably gonna edit this comment to have all my thoughts about the episodes in one] 1:40 I mean they’re all Oni to be fair 10:35 I found that one episode usually is stronger in its cgi use and the next one will be a bit more heavy handed probably bc the episodes are priority episode, non priority episode, then non priority episode again and so on or at least it feels like it. Hard to tell by staff bc hibari seems to be pretty self sustaining 23:13 gave me strong Mahito vibes 24:22 Danny mentioned that they have different branches so they won’t be interacting with that Unit of Momotaro when they were on the boat to Kyoto 44:27 lmfao same dude this episode gave me so much emotional whiplash idk if it was this apparent in the manga but watching it I was like they’re having a whole ass romcom in that room while shit is going down everywhere else 😭 45:27 to be closer to the screen? 🌚 52:32 No. 😭🕊️ 1:00:22 Magical Girl transformation 🗿 Okay wow episode 8 had some really impressive animation and camera work. I could also do without the giant booba I think it takes away a bit from the dark tone of the show. I mean dragon maid has it too I guess some authors just unapologetically write their taste of women into the story lmao I think you’ll like it even more in cour 2 shit started pop off quickly but more plot points and getting to know the cast of characters is coming so I’m not mad at all about the ranking especially since Gachiakuta is also airing rn but I’d say they have 2 very different tones I’d say this has definitely more dark fantasy elements. Emphasis on dark lmao Loved your reaction

I love Rokuro, he is tied for 1st place with Naito, in terms of my favorite character. ALSO, Kuina, the yandere, is probably my least favorite character. She's mid. Episode 8 was definitely 1 of my favorites so far! And I've heard that the remaining episodes are gonna be great!
