Love this episode. As a manga reader before this even got announced, this arc is where the story really starts to focus more on the plot, mysteries and power system a bit more that the world building like in the establishing episodes. All I can say without spoiling is that it’s peak from here on out, even in parts where there are breaks from the action. I also loved the storyboards in this episode, the way it made everything so unsettling and as well as making Amo so much more menacing, it captured the manga so well, and a scene either in the next episode or the following is one of my favorite character building moments for Rudo. By the way, you are right, Jabber called the series the watchman series, and Rudo named his gloves 3R, it was glossed over and vague in the anime but if you remember the scene from episode 6 when Riyo asked Rudo if his gloves had a name before the anime shows the names of Riyo, Enjin and Zanka’s vital instruments, it’s implied that he named it 3R after that. Fun fact, I don’t think it has been confirmed but 3R just means reduce, reuse and recycle, cool and on the nose isn’t it.

ookiku naare = become big Heh I had the same thought that maybe Rudo would not fall for the illusion/memory due to his being a bad one, but the way it played out was very interesting.
