Funny part, if i remember correctly, this whole flashback happen just before the reveal of Shirakumo in the main manga (the scene in the prison with Eraser and Present Mic trying to go throught Kurogiri), so people who read the two manga as the chapters came out, had extra feeling when this happen. It was well timed from the publisher and the people working on both manga.

If you look at the phone convo at the beginning with eraser and midnight, midnight seems to be petting sushi . These 4 idiots could carry their own series lol. Shirukumo /midnight is a popular ship with fans and they ate well here. It's sweet but sad. Thinking about half this gang not being here at the end sucks. One mistake in the last MHA so in s8 is there's a clip with eraser and mic visiting a funeral. The subs we read showed shirakumos's grave, but I saw other subs show midnight's grave too. So they were buried together.
