i can’t say the director is a good guy, but it could have been so much worse. still, he took advantage of the power imbalance between them (him having a job to offer, her looking for one) and expected sex like it’s standard practice. part of the blame goes to the industry that normalized such expectations, but he is part of the problem by following these systemic behaviors
