Fantastic start. Animation is great, atmosphere and ambience are amazing. The world building and magic system is super intriguing. Loving everything about this so far

GRAHHHH. Watched it earlier it’s so peak. Was surprised how fast I got pulled in to the point episode 2 felt shorter than the OP I love much much they let the neutral sound scape breathe it makes the world feel so much more tangible and really don’t use OSTs a whole lot which is a well welcome surprise since most anime have been faster, brighter, louder and just more of everything at all times

Ive been a massive fan of this manga for a very long time. All I can say is perfection. Genuinely been waiting for the anime for years I'm so happy it's time now. One of my top 3 best written series. Peak is here

Like you I really knew nothing about this going in besides the hype for people in your Discord, and yeah I can see why, great two episodes to start off here. Can't wait to see more of this. And yeah you are correct on the OP, it says Eve featuring suis from Yorushika.

You brought it up a few times, but one of the things I loved the most about the manga was how the feeling of reading a fairytale that came across from Kamome Shirahama's art. The aneling especially is legit some of my favorite in manga. I was lowkey a ltitle worried about if the anime would get that same feeling across, but with the pop-up story book transitions, I can see I was worried for nothing. Also, another one of the things that really made me click with the show is how scientific the magic system seems to be. It sort of reminds me a lot of coding, with the sigils being like the main logic of a spell, the signs being extrapolations or ways of altering the logic, and the circle being like the brackets around a function. It's really good stuff, and Shirahama stays pretty consistent to the way it works. Like there are even some fans in the community who analyzed the petrification spell to find out some information the manga hadn't even touched on yet. I'm just so happy with the adaptation so far
