OmegaAlpha 83

The Guy at the end was the Nobleman that Grandville and Mariabell hired to get in Rimuru's good graces. They tried to do this by working with those merchants during the festival. Remember all those Merchants who came for their payment en mase? They were asking to be paid in dwarven gold, and rimuru and the crew surmised that this was on purpose to make tempest look bad for not being able to pay these merchants. However Gazel and Empress Elmesia helped out and traded the coins. If this didn't happen, rimuru wouldn't have been able to pay them, and that's when the nobleman would swoop in and offer his help in resolving the situation, thus getting in Tempest's good graces. But because Gazel and Elmesia helped out, his idea did not go according to plan. Grandville's words were to not disapoint him, so at the end of the episode he tried to run away and start a new life. But Right before this scene Mariabell said "cleanup is almost finished" So one can assume they hired someone to silence him. The only person we could currently suspect killed him is Glenda(traitor), the red haired female Holy knight, who is apart of hinata's crew. She was shown last season with a gun threatening Damrada for speaking out of turn to Grandville, though she said it was for her "freedom". She was also there in the fight against Diablo, but ran away after he displayed his resistance to physical attacks.

As for the actual episode. Mariabel's backstory was intriguing, and for the first time we find out about someone who also reincarnated into this world. Up until now the only person who has reincarnated into this world was Rimuru and maybe that chef guy(yoshida) but i think that one was a mistranslation on the anime's part. Every other otherworlder was either summoned or spontaneously transported. Some even said it was cool to see someone non-japanese be reincarnated but what most people don't know is that not all of the kids rimuru saved were from Japan. Gale even said something like "I don't know to much about Japanese manga" specifically mentioning it that way implies he's not from Japan. I cant believe we got two of the best Isekai to show people getting sniped in the same week Rip to that guy, though you wont be missed. Lastly Glad to see that the plot is progressing more, as a manga reader i really want to see how they adapt some scenes. I can't wait for the upcoming episodes, i hope 8bit isn't going to cheap out on this season with its 60 episodes.
