Actually good observation about the death sound being present when Subaru first Opens his Eyes in Lugunica. I believe Subaru had another hidden loop we haven’t seen yet where he somehow came across Satella after she summoned him and gave him the return by breath powers with the terms and conditions we see in the Anime.
