Let’s go, we got Naddy added. Naddy is one of my favorites from this series. Anyways let’s get onto puns, references and changes. New GF means new name pun. Now Naddy to my knowledge isn’t a pun but personally I think it sounds similar enough to Natty or natural to be a joke on her not naturally being American. As for her Yamamoto Nadeshiko name, Yamamoto Nadeshiko is what you’d call someone who’s very traditionally Japanese. As for Naddy’s speaking, I can’t blame anyone for translating anything that she says wrong. It is a near nonsensical mash of Japanese and English and I pitty everyone involved with translations. For references, a lot went over my head this episode. Iku’s outfit is from the Baseball manga Star of the Giants where one of the characters train by having a contraption of springs constantly pulling his arms so he has to fight against it. As for changes Hakari’s line about her mother was changed. In the manga she thinks “You look like you take clients” Also I just want to praise the anime for adding in the classroom whispering when Naddy is introduced and replacing the normal whispering sounds with them saying the artists name. One thing I always like in the manga is the Author taking every opportunity to give praise to the Artist Yukikko Nozawa. They seem to have a very good working relationship and genuinely love what they do. Also Nozawa is actually on a bit of a break right now as she actually just had a kid.
