slice of life episodes/moments of the show are my favourite part, genuinely wouldn't mind a whole core of the show just dedicated to it (which ik it wont).

Yeah the combination of the excellent character writing plus the slice of life moments work so well! Man, the whole scene there at the end, the feels! This really is the MT I got fully invested in back in S1.

Your comment on Norn being a normal kid surrounded by geniuses and her being one of your favorite characters is something I fully agree with, with enthusiasm. I adore Norn, and have since her chapters during the season 2 volumes of the LN's when she shut herself in her room. I loved reading her logic through her own issues with Rudeus and manage to pull herself out of her own depression and accept him for who he is. That scene skyrocketed her up to my personal number 1 spot. (Incidentally, Roxy and Elinalise are my very close second and third favorites, with the two of them trading spots here and there depending on the scene and my mood, but I love them both as well)
