Even knowing what's gonna happen the cliff hanger is pure evil. I couldn't sit down watching this episode, the suspense knowing whats gonna happen had me pacing.

The scene you're thinking of with Rudeus pinning Sylphie against the wall was back when Nanahoshi coughed up blood. Sylphie began panicking when she collapsed because she assumed that she caused it, and Rudeus prioritized comforting her and we get that image of her against the wall covered in blood with Rudeus 'pinning' her to it (which he wasn't, given the context)
