So the montage stuff is apparently from volume exclusive extra mini chapters after the series ended. The taira azuma one has dialogue and there's a page not adapted that shows them standing at what I think is a theme park, teasing each other about where to go next. And they're listening to a playlist of songs azuma made, implied to be stuff she listened to because of him. And because they hang out all night, the joke on x is that they're probably in the "sleeps at each other's places, occasionally hooks up but can't figure out their exact status". And that actually makes a TON of sense. The idea that sometimes they act like buddies, sometimes like couples. Because "labels don't matter" with them. Head canon, they get together eventually, realize they were already basically dating for years lol .
