Pure cinema indeed!

What I think happened to D and Capri is that we see Capri looking at satellites the whole season. So what i think is that they transfered themselves to the satellite and that is why it is shown again at the end.

This ending made me cry 😭. This was such a phenomenal season. I'd argue the animation is actually even better than S1, simply because of how much more "dynamic" and detailed shots there were. Especially some background animtion and visuals that we didn't have in S1, Kai Ikarashi as a director has many connections too industry legends such as Yoh Yoshinari (who participated on ep 10, the shot when the whole Talia monstrosity fell apart, was all 2d hand drawn) because of Ikarashi's amazing trackrecord as an animator (Ikarashi worked on series such as Black Clover, Fate Grand Order, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100, and most other Trigger shows). The music i thought was amazing too. The soundtrack composer (the non vocal tracks) is the same as the original 1998 Trigun anime, Tsueno Imahori.

Talia actually doesn't actually have double jump, and the sound is actually the *Super* jump noise lol. they're very similar sounding tho tbf. but yeah it's clear she has the super jump cyberware, not double jump.

So... the Doctor talking about Talia's recovery could very much be him talking about the Cyberpsychosis, not her (presumed) ALS. Him specifically saying they need to remove her implants suggests that he isn't talking about the ALS too, and she still has more mobility than she did before Capri 'repaired' her... It could be both of course. Capri DID repair a lot of her brain tissue, and maybe cured her, maybe didn't... we don't know. She was clearly weak getting to the car, but that could be because of the damage she sustained during all that happened, and also adjusting to new, basic implants. so yeah, it's basically left up to interpretation. Talia might live, she might die. either way she'll likely be very weak for the rest of her life if she does live.
